Frequently asked questions.
Costs, screening, languages, reliability, and how care actually starts — the questions GTA families and facilities ask us most.
For most families, care can begin within days of your free assessment. For facilities, we can often respond to urgent facility needs within the same week. Every inquiry gets a response within 24 hours — facilities get a same-business-day response. Urgent? Call (437) 422-6855.
Home-care rates depend on the type of support, the schedule, and visit length and timing. At your free, no-obligation assessment we confirm your complete rate in writing before any care begins — no hidden fees, no surprises. Read our full 2026 cost guide →

Yes — cultural and language matching is at the heart of what we do. Tell us your family's language, food, and customs, and we'll match a caregiver who fits — and if the right match isn't on our roster yet, we'll say so honestly and recruit for it.
Language and cultural matching is the heart of how we recruit — our roster grows with the families we serve, and we recruit continuously for the languages families ask for, from Yoruba and Igbo to Tagalog, Punjabi, Tamil, and Cantonese. Tell us what feels like home; if the right caregiver isn't on our roster today, we'll say so honestly and go find them.

Yes. Care plans start from a few hours a week — companionship visits, respite for a family caregiver, or post-hospital recovery — and scale to around-the-clock support. Care can grow or shrink as needs change, with no long-term lock-in.
Yes. We deliver personal support care services to long-term care and retirement residences, group homes, and respite and day programs — from single visits to ongoing schedules, with no long-term lock-in. See facility care support →
Tell us and we'll re-match you quickly, at no extra cost. The right fit matters more to us than a fast placement.
We prioritize caregiver continuity, confirm scheduled visits in advance, and plan backup coverage wherever possible. One named contact — with the founder's line behind them — coordinates your care and keeps your family informed. Your schedule, rate, and service expectations are documented before care begins.
Often, yes. Veterans Affairs Canada's Veterans Independence Program reimburses eligible veterans, survivors, and primary caregivers for home support services each year. We can help you understand what you may qualify for and provide the documentation you need. More ways to fund care →
